Privacy Policy

1. What Pocket Performance is

Pocket Performance is an Android performance-testing family and website experience. Lite provides a focused free acceleration flow; the full app provides the broader test set; optional Pro Pack features include proof video, qualifying uploads, challenges and advanced tools.

2. Account creation and login

Pocket Performance may collect and store account-related information needed to create and manage a user account, including login details, profile information, Racer ID / username, and related account records.

3. Profile, Racer ID, and garage data

The app may store user profile information, Racer ID / username, garage records, vehicle details, car names, car nicknames, and other car-related information required to support private use, leaderboard use, and challenge features.

4. Run history and performance results

Pocket Performance may store run history, performance results, timing results, top speed results, distance results, challenge run records, and related run data so users can review their performance history and use app features properly. Some history and result data may remain only on the user’s device, depending on the app and feature used.

5. Location, speed, and telemetry data

Pocket Performance uses location, speed, and telemetry-related data for performance testing, run measurement, calibration, timing, distance measurement, and related performance analysis features.

6. Camera and microphone / audio use

If enabled by the user, Pocket Performance may use the device camera and microphone / audio features to create proof videos or run videos. Video and audio capture is only used when those features are enabled by the user.

7. Local-only data and on-device storage

Some app data may remain local to the user’s device where applicable, including private run history, private videos, local brag cards, settings, and other private records that are not uploaded publicly unless the user chooses to use public upload features.

8. Backend storage

Pocket Performance Lite and the full app share a Pocket Performance account system. Pocket Performance uses Supabase backend services to support account features, public leaderboard functionality, challenge functionality, media handling, and related cloud-backed app features.

9. Public leaderboard uploads are user-controlled

Public leaderboard uploads are controlled by the user. If a user chooses to upload a qualifying run to the public leaderboards, certain run data may be published publicly through the website and related public leaderboard systems.

10. Public data shown on leaderboards

Public leaderboard entries may display information including: username / Racer ID, car name, car details, result, board position, confidence value, and proof video where applicable.

11. Proof video and public media

Where applicable, proof videos or related public run media may appear on public leaderboard pages and related watch flows if the user has chosen to upload a qualifying public run and the relevant media is linked to that public entry.

12. Pro Pack and in-app purchases

The full Pocket Performance app, Pro Pack and any supported purchase handling are managed through Google Play billing systems where applicable. Pocket Performance does not directly process Google Play payment card details itself.

13. We do not sell user data

Pocket Performance does not sell user personal data.

14. Website analytics

The Pocket Performance website uses Google Analytics 4 to help understand how visitors find and use the public website. This may include information such as page views, traffic source / medium, referring websites, social platform visits, approximate device and browser details, and which public pages are visited most.

Website analytics helps Pocket Performance understand real traffic from Google Search, social posts, Meta ads, backlinks, direct visits, and other public website sources. This information is used to improve the website, understand which pages are useful, and measure public launch and marketing activity.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect website analytics information. Pocket Performance does not use Google Analytics to sell personal data, and Google Play payment details, app passwords, and private in-app run data are not collected through this website analytics tag.

15. Data deletion and account deletion requests

Lite and the full app share one Pocket Performance account. Deleting that account applies across both apps. Users can request account deletion and/or data deletion by contacting: PocketPerformance@gmail.com

Pocket Performance may remove account records, public leaderboard records, and proof videos linked to deletion requests, except where limited retention is required for legal, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, security, or similar legitimate operational reasons.

16. Public leaderboard removals on deletion request

If a user requests account or data deletion, some public leaderboard records, media, or proof videos may be removed as part of that process unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud, abuse-prevention, or similar necessary reasons.

17. Safety and lawful use

Pocket Performance is intended for lawful and safe use only. The app is not intended for use on public roads and should only be used in lawful, controlled environments such as race tracks, private land, test facilities, or other appropriate permitted locations.
